Soul Art in Nature Retreat with Dr Arien and Nicole Kauerauf

After the very successful and fully booked, Women’s Retreats recently held at Cranes Nest in Mpumulanga, it's time for The first Five Streams initiated Retreat in KZN Midlands! This will be the first of many retreats leading to the establishment of my dream for a healing retreat centre at Five Streams.

Join Nicole Kauerauf (resident artist) and myself, at Bramleigh Manor from 26-28 November 2010 for a 'Soul Art in Nature Retreat' where you will be exploring your creative self. NO ART EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! This will be a wonderful opportunity to access your right, creative brain and explore a vastly unused portion of human brain capacity. Art, after all, is one of the best ways to access the right brain for whole brain functioning!

Retreaters will arrive during the afternoon on Friday 26 November, settle in, relax a bit, and meet for a welcome, introductory session on 'Right Brain Whole Brain' at 17h30. We'll all watch a video for an easy, scientific and personal experience explanation, to help us understand that creative activity allows access to the right brain for whole brain functioning, relaxation and healing. You'll be given info and prompts for the journal writing as part of the weekend, and Nicole will explain the art playshops. The Saturday morning will be your 1st creative playshop. Saturday afternoon is time to rest, reflect, do some journaling, complete artwork, opening the layers to your creative self.  Just before dinner, we all come together for a short discussion and sharing of personal experience. The Sunday morning is time for another playshop, finding inspiration inside the indigenous forest. We then come together for a last sharing, closing and integrative session before lunch (a picnic lunch in the forest, weather permitting of course!), as everyone prepares to enter the world again, enriched and strengthened by their contact and experience with art and nature.

Price for full board, 2 nights, incl. facilitation fee, journal, art workshops  and all art material: R2600 per person sharing and R3100 per person single. Bramleigh Manor can only accommodate 14 people sharing, so please book as soon as possible. We encourage friends, partners and couples, willing to share, to join us! I recommend that those coming from further away than 3 hours' driving, stay over on Sunday, and rather leave on Monday morning, as it's quite far to travel back on Sunday afternoon. Should you decide to do this, you will spend the Sunday afternoon relaxing, have dinner, sleep over and depart after breakfast, on Monday, 29 Nov. 2010. The additional fee will be R450 per person sharing, and R550 single.

Cancellations made 29 days or more prior to arrival date 10% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 22 to 28 days prior to arrival date 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 0 to 21 days prior to arrival date 50% cancellation fee.
No show: Forfeit 100% of the deposit.
Cancellation fees are based on the total amount quoted.
These terms are non-negotiable because of the limited numbers that can be accommodated, and receipt of your deposit assumes your unconditional acceptance of these terms.
